Flatiron Electrician

Licensed electrical work for Flatiron loft condos, offices, showrooms and the retail stores along Fifth Avenue, Broadway and the Ladies' Mile.

The Flatiron District's cast-iron and masonry loft buildings, many within the Ladies' Mile Historic District, now hold condos, offices, studios and flagship stores. NGM Electric has completed 8 projects in the Flatiron District and more than 90 within a mile of it.

Loft and commercial spaces here often need new power distribution, lighting and equipment circuits during a fit-out. We work from architects' and engineers' drawings, coordinate with building management, file DOB permits under our license, and can schedule work around business hours.

Permits, landmarks, and building rules

Commercial fit-outs need DOB electrical permits and often coordination with a general contractor and building management. Condo work usually requires an alteration agreement and insurance certificate. Storefront and exterior changes in the historic district may need Landmarks Preservation Commission approval.
